Have you ever said to yourself "I know I have one of those, but I cant remember where I put it" or "Ive seen it recently in a box in the garage, but I cant remember which one." If so, "My Containers" can help you. You may have noticed that most items that you use every day can be thought of as a container. For example, your house is a container of rooms. The rooms are containers of furniture, shelves, bookcases, cabinets, boxes, file folders, etc. My Containers allows you to easily capture the relationships between those containers in a way that makes it easy to keep track of things you may not use very often and also find them when you need them.

My Containers is a powerful hierarchical database for iOS devices with a simple drill-down user interface. It is very easy to create containers and then add items to any container. It is also easy to search and find your items again. Once an item is located, you can tap a single button to quickly show the entire nesting hierarchy of containers to help pinpoint the exact physical location of the located item. In addition, it is very easy to bookmark frequently referenced items or containers and then recall them with a single button tap. My Containers is easy to keep up to date because it is very easy to move or copy items from one container to another or even rearrange items within a container.

In addition, each item that you are tracking can be associated with one or more categories and one or more attributes or groups of attributes. The names of the categories and attributes are completely flexible and can be easily customized to fit almost any specific need. Currently, the value of an attribute can be a text string, a numeric value (with our without a numeric units description), a date, an image, or one of a set of related types (e.g. a specific color from a user defined set of colors).

If desired, the complete container/item hierarchy can be imported from or exported to an XML file for backup purposes or exchanging with other iOS devices through eMail or iTunes Application File Sharing.
